ALCOHOL MONITORING
Attenti recognise the correlation between criminal behaviour, family violence and alcohol. We also recognise that alcohol dependency affects physical and mental health.
Partnering with SCRAM Systems the CAM (Continuous Alcohol Monitoring) unit proves the constant level of use or abstinence which can pave the way to lift restrictions and sanctions around child visitations and employment.
HOW IT WORKS
The unit contains a transdermal alcohol detector which takes a reading off the skin every 30 minutes.
The reading is uploaded into the system, analysed and graphed with detail of exactly when and how much alcohol has been consumed.
Confirmed alcohol events are notified to the monitoring centre who contact the requesting authority.
WHAT THE EQUIPMENT DOESN’T DO
The unit measures alcohol intake only. It does not show drug use or location.
